We propose a session "Culture Geology" of CBGA 2018 meeting. Culture geology was proposed by Prof. Wolfgang Vetters of Salzburg University in 2003 originally as "Kulturgeologie", so that Salzburg is the place of birth of such fascinating field of geoscience. Culture geology is an interdisciplinary field between cultural and geological sciences, which deals with historical usage of geomaterials by human, modern human activity with geology like geoturism, geoliteratures created by novelists/poets, and so on. Because culture is created by human, culture geology is the field of geoscience close relationship with human being. We expect case studies of all kinds of culture concerning with geology.
